I'm a vocalist and voice teacher with a background in classical vocal performance and extensive experience teaching singers online. I studied vocal performance at Seoul National University and completed my master's degree in classical voice at Boston University.
My classical training gave me a strong technical foundation, but teaching many different singers showed me something equally important: some students understand a concept immediately through sound. Others need a physical sensation, a visual image, a movement, or a completely different explanation.
That's why my teaching is highly individualized. During a lesson, we may experiment with several approaches until we find the one that helps your voice respond naturally.
…but never shown exactly how? I especially enjoy working with those singers. I want you to leave a lesson understanding not only what improved, but also how to recreate it by yourself.
